Sally Huggins Toner

So here it is–my spot for news, musings, et al.  As a full-time high school teacher and mother of two, I won’t make any promises about how frequently I’ll post.  But 2019 is already shaping up to be an exciting year personally and professionally, with one daughter set to graduate college by year’s end, another set to enter her senior year of high school in the fall, a chapbook coming out this summer, readings, conferences, my 27th year in the high-school classroom…you get the idea.  I’ve decided it’s time to create a place I can point people when they ask what I’m up to.

To the point of the quote by Wordsworth, this blog is a child.  It won’t replace my leather covered journal or the more-than-occasional Tweet, Instagram, or Facebook post.  (All that jazz is in the links below, by the way)  When I’m here, I hope it’s a youngster that speaks some truth, shows people some beautiful work from other places, and continues to grow with at least a bit of piety.  Thanks for coming.
